Slip sheets & layer pads

Slip sheets and layer pads protect your products during shipping while on the pallet in transportation.

Slip sheets, also known as liner board, pallet liners, tier sheets, layer pads, anti-skid slip sheets, push/pull tier sheets or pallet toppers, are typically 9 point (.009”) thick to 60 point (.060”) chipboard sheets (but can also be corrugated sheets).  These sheets are put on pallets before boxes or other product is placed on the pallet, or often times part way up a stack of product or on top of the load of the pallet.

Sheets put on the pallet are typically used to protect from nails on the pallet puncturing boxes or bags on the pallet and protect from dirt or water.  Sheets used part way up the stack of product are used to stabilize the load from tipping and sheets used on top of the stack of product is used to protect product from dirt, dust and water and reduce risk of damage when stacking skids on top of each other.
